Our Poetry about Emotions

Today we have been working in pairs to create a poem about an emotion. We did this using Google Docs. It was our first time of inserting images which was fun.

Here are some examples of our poetry.
Enjoy

...ANGER...
Anger is the red colour of your face when you get angry
It smells like flames and fire.
It tastes like hot chilli sauce.
It feels like a hard red bowling ball coming towards me.
It sounds like Miss Peters getting mad.

It looks like flower petals falling off a flower.

.

Sad
Sad is blue as the ocean.
It sounds like the splash of the waves.
It looks like Tangaroa moving the water.
It taste like salt in my face at the beach.
It feels like the water has taken us into the sea.
It smells like salty water mix with body odour..

Happiness
Happiness is as bright as the sun.
It smells like fresh apples off the tree.
lt tastes like apple juice.
It feels like a crunchy bar
rumbling in my mouth.
It sounds like a big crunch of a chocolate bar.
It looks like kids full of joy because they get to play in the park.

Proud

Proud is gold like a trophy on a windowsill.
It smells like fresh bananas.
It tastes like delicious homemade banana cake.
It feels like winning a netball tournament.
It sounds like everyone shouting and cheering.

It looks like soldiers standing proud in a parade.

  1. Wow, Room 11! I really enjoyed reading your poems. I think I like the colour 'yellow'. Everyone needs a bit of happiness... and chocolate. Keep up the creativity Room 11.
