Cricket with Nick

Yesterday we were talking about how you aim and its really hard to hit the ball. Nick showed us how to hold the bat properly. He told us to line up the V of our hands with the back of the bat. 

Then we went with a partner and we had to hit the ball up in the air twenty times. Then we tried doing some tricks like hit the ball and turn around and rock the baby where we rolled the ball from one end of the bat to the other. 

At the end we played a game. We had to hit the ball and run around the cones. You had to be careful when you were running because the fielding team might get you out if you weren't on a cone. 

I was running to the second cone and then the fielding team threw the ball to the catcher and he touched the wicket and I was out.
