Today we participated in an amazing Duffy Theatre. They sang lots of songs starting with the songs from Moana.
The show was talking about global warming or climate change. We saw that forest fires, cyclones and storms can be caused by global warming. This can mean that animals and people can be hurt or even killed.
In the show Duffy helped Global Girl to learn to read so she could help Earth with global warming. Global Girl had great powers. They did some breathtaking experiments. They told us to youtube "elephant toothpaste" and "making clouds" if we wanted to create them.
They told us some ways of helping the environment are...
- Having shorter showers
- Saving energy by turning off lights when you aren't in the room
- Walking to school if you live nearby or carpooling if you live further away.
- Recycling
It was an awesome piece of work and the actors were sensational.
