This term our learning pathways was all about charity, helping and working for others.
In Room 11 we made bookmarks, decorating them and writing a message of thanks. We baked apple crumble for the amazing people in the office. We have been working on Love Letters but there will be more about those in another post.
The senior school worked together to create a celebration morning tea for some of the residents from the Kolmar Rest Home, all of our teacher aids, our BOT, our amazing office staff, Wayne, the best caretaker ever, Mereana our Social Worker, pretty much everyone in our school who helps to make it the great place it is.
Each class in the senior school contributed to the celebration. Room 8 designed and made the invitations, Room 9 set up the hall, Room 10 made beautiful envelopes for all of the guests, Room 11 created salt dough stars to go in the envelopes along with the creative bookmarks made by Room 12.
As you can see it was a real team effort with everyone contributing to the event.

Before morning tea, the guests were entertained by the senior school's amazing singing, the Sistema orchestra, the ukulele group, the comedic stylings of Cadell and Fatu and the choir. CJ and Gregory made awesome MC's.
