Aquatic Safety

Today's swimming lesson was dedicated to aquatic safety. 

 Things we learnt today: 
  • How to tread water - spread jam on toast with your arms and make circles with your feet. 
  • Stay together to stay warm.
  • If you have a baby, put them in the middle to keep them warmer. 
  • A life jacket is essential in keeping you safe. 
  • Treading water is much harder without a life jacket.
  • No matter what... don't let go. 
  • Put your hand straight up in the air when you need help. Don't wave it all about - straight up shows you need help. 
  • To pin drop and back drop into the water.
