As a follow up to our sessions with Tina and our trip to PaknSave to check out the packaging labels, we created a slideshow about fat, sugar or salt.
We found out lots of interesting facts about these three nasties but as you will read, your body NEEDS fat, sugar and salt. Perhaps not as much as we are eating at the moment though.

Together with our partner, we stood and presented our slideshow to the class. The audience gave us feedback about our presentation and how we presented it.
We learnt alot about presenting information and of course we had to work cooperatively to create our slideshow. Something we struggled with was putting technical information from the internet into our own words and making sure that we understood what we were reading. That was a tricky with so many medical and scientific terms.
We hope you have learnt something by reading our work. :)

What great, interesting and thought provoking information...I know which heart I would prefer! I have never thought of sugar as a delicacy before :)
ReplyDeleteDid you know before this learning where salt and sugar came from? Thank you R11-you have helped me to be aware of my sugar consumption-treats are good. Sugar overload is not!
