Introducing Kahu 5 2020

Kia Ora my name is Aiesha Mackie. I am 9 years old turning 10. My culture is Maori half CookIsland. And I like being a student in Room I mean Kahu 5. 
My favourite talent is singing. I like to eat butter chicken because it is one of my favourite meals. One food I really hate is vegetables. I know it is healthy and good for your body but I still don't like them. I like to play soccer because I learn how to kick far.
 My family is some of the most stunning people I have ever met. I’ve  got one amazing brother. He is 5 years old, turning 6 and his name is Dtory. I’ve got a little baby sister and she is like six months now. Her name is Kyani named after her dad’s sister’s daughter. Kyani is a loving baby she smiles when she wants to. It is cute when she smiles.
This year my school goal is trying to be a role model by helping people. When I leave this school I will never forget about this school and all of the teachers and students. I think you’ve heard lots of information now so kakete.

Talofa my name is AJ and I am in Kahu 5. I like to play on my dark black and bright white PS4. My favourite games to play are minecraft and fortnite and lots more. I also like to play soccer because it's really fun and I’m realy good at it. 

My favourites foods are nachos with chilli, subway and a cheese burger because they taste amazing and magnificient.

 I don't like kinas or mussels because they make me feel weird. They make me feel like a silly salmon. My sisters also don't like them, it is only my mum and brother like to eat them.

I really don't like clowns becuase they creep me out and give me nightmares. I also hate speaking in front of big crowds of people because they all are looking at me and I’m very shy. 

My school goal for 2020 is to get in the cricket because I like to be on the fielding team and I really like to bat and I really need to learn how to bowl. 

Talofa lava my name is Akia, I am 10 years old and I’m in Kahu 5. I am  Samoan Maori. 

My favorite subjects are maths and sports. The sport I like is touch because you have chase the person with the ball on the other team.  I also like games. I’m good at fortnite and minecraft. 

My favorite breakfast is weet-bix and french toast. My favorite foods are sushi, salmon and butter chicken. I hate carrots and corn. I know they are good for you but I still don't like them. My favorite treats are Malteasers,   pepperoni pizza and a sandwich with lettuce, cheese and ham.

My goal this year for school is to make as many friends as I can even if they don't go to this school. I like to play is balltag with my friends Tyson, Efraim and some other people in my class too. 

Kia ora my name is Blake and I am in Kahu Five. I live in a house of four in Maraetai. The people that live with are my annoying little brother, my mum,my dad and my cat. 

I have many favourite foods like juice and triple cheese burgers. They are so big that my mum hardly lets me get one.  She says it's too big for me but she is wrong. 

Eventhough  I like most foods but there are still some I don’t like, like kina and mussels. My whole family likes kina except my brother and I although I do like shelling them, they taste disgusting.

I have millons of talents like speed, sport, maths and reading. The best talent to have is speed because that helps me with sport but it is hard when it comes to maths and reading in tests. My favourite sport is rugby because you can tackle hard.

My goal for 2020 is to get into every sports team because it is my last year and I really like sport. 

Talofa my name is Bryce I’m 10 years old and I like to play my PS4. My favourite game is Call of Duty WWll.

I like to touch my nose with my tounge which 99% of people can’t do.I also like to eat banana splits because  they have chocolate in them. I like to call myself a survivor because I’ve  been though a lot in my life.

I don’t like that my cat called Boobels died because of the next door neighbours.                

My goal is to listen to Miss Peters and not to be naughty.

Lastly my Nan is the one good at cooking because every thing she cooks is yum and her apple crumble is the best in the World.

Hi my name is Cloe. I like horses, dogs and cats. My talent is to make the horse sound and to sing too. I like fish because it is yummy and I don’t like to eat horses because I love horses. I have three poeple in my family, my mom Tazz and me. My mom is an engineer and Tazz is a gardener. I love my mom and Tazz and they love me too.

 My one school goal is making friends. 

I remember playing on the park because it was fun. I love it when we went to camp. The best thing about camp was doing horse riding. Even though I love horses I don’t get to ride them much and at camp I rode one. It was amazing. I went on the medium sized horse and he was beautiful. I even helped the camp leader to pick up the horse poo and helped to build up the horses hay.

Talofa my name is Cortez and I really enjoy my name. My favourite meal has a lot of meat which is potato salad, meat patties and rice.The worst things that has happened to me start with smashing the window and getting glass stuck in my head to falling down the stairs head first.

My favourite sport is water rafting because I like to feel like I'm on an adventure to a lost place. My most favolurite activity is creating amazing stuff with lego. Lego is what I mainly buy with my money. 

Anyway did you know that paleontologists have found over 30 fully built skeletons of the famous 

Tyrannosurs. Two scientists believe that dinosaurs lived on earth about 245 million years back into the age of the ancient world. 

I only have five people in my family, me, my mum, my dad, my sister and my pets.

The biggest spider in the world is the goliath birdeater  and the lifespan for a female is 15-25 years while the male is 3-6 years.

I like to be an adventurous person like how I went with my dad to catch eels for dinner.

My most favourite game besides minecraft is war robots because there are so many different robots that do a crazy amount of damage to other foes. My most favourite youtubers are Beckbrojack, Unspeakable, Mouse, Chark, Cyclone, Papa Pake and Logan also Preston, Infinite List and Reaction Time. I am so proud that I am Tahitian like my dad.

Kia ora my name is Drel and I’m in Kahu 5. I am 10 years old and my birthday is on January the 7th. I have four brothers and two sisters. My family’s names are Dash and Dayton. My dad is full Maori and my mum is half Maori and half Cook Island. My dad likes skateboarding. He's been skateboarding since he was a kid but when my mum was young, she was brought up with Cook Island things by her aunties but she didn’t want to do Cook Island things so she did Maori. The last thing is my parents names are Dion and Daniell.
I have a couple of talents like skateboarding, running and reading but my best talent is looking at the teacher when the teacher is talking but It's hard when it comes to reading tests and maths tests.
I have thousands of favourite foods like kina and mussels and KFC. I like the chicken wings from KFC because they are delicious with the chips and it's yum with the gravy as well but it's even better with the chicken wings, chips and gravy. That's why I like KFC.
My school goal is to learn my times tables and also to join school sports.

Talofa my name is Efraim Mulipola. I am in Kahu 5 which was Room 11 but now that is gone. My teacher is Miss Peters. She is kind, funny and sometimes scary. She is
scary only if you are naughty so watch your back. My cultures are  Maori and Samoan. My dad is Samoan and my mum is Maori. In my family are my two sisters, my two brothers in law, my mum, my dad, my aunties, my uncles, my 100 cousins, and grandparents. They give me a lot of stuff like a ps4 and a samsung galaxy a10 phone.
My favourite songs is Ransom by Lil Tecca and Tongue Tied by Marshmello, Yungblud and Blackbear. My favourite beat is West Coast Beats. My least favourite songs are Senorita, Old Town Road and Hokus Pokus. I like to beatbox in my spare time. My favourite beatboxer is Spencer X because he is really good at it. My talent is that I can dance and sing but I am a softie and  I sing low and high pitch. I like to play Apex Legends because it is fun to play. Apex Legends is a game for pc, xbox, mobile and ps4.
I like to eat pizza, salad, cucumber, pickles and lettuce. Foods I hate are German buns, mince, carrots, beef, seafood, and peanuts. My best friends are Akia, Tyson, Paehangi, Blake, Kingston, Dante, Xzavier, AJ, Matthew, Himaseli, Ezias, Peter, Bryce, Junior , Cortez, Drel and Phynx. Things I hate are babies and  people using the internet at my house because I lag. I also  hate people on my phone or my ps4. I get annoyed.
My school goal was to be in Room 11 but Thanos snapped Room 11 away and welcomed Kahu 5 to BMPS. Something that is always going to be in my head will be missing my old friends.

Talofa, my name is Ezias and I am 9 years old. My birthday is on the 2nd of July. This is my first year in Kahu 5 so I am really looking forward to learning with Miss Peters. 
Something I am good at  is playing on my PS4. The games I like are Nba2k, Fortnite and Tekken 7 but the game I like the most is Fortnite. I like Fortnite because you can play with about 16 people and have fun. I don't just play Fortnite, I play the other games too. But this year I’m going to try to get better grades than last year. I think my talent is making people laugh. I don't always make people laugh only sometimes...especially my family.
My two top foods are butter chicken and hot chips. I like butter chicken because of the way it's cooked and the sauce. I like hot chips because it tastes like the most delicious thing I’ve eaten with salt EVER! Another reason why I like it is because it is so so warm. In the mornings me and my family drive to the shops to buy hot chips. Something I do not like is vegetables. That is my true enemy, besides people beating me in Fortnite… I do love one vegetable and that is… Broccoli. I like broccoli when my Mum deep fries it.
In my family there are six people. My two brothers, one sister, me and my parents. If I were to describe my sister I would describe her as annoying, She would cry all the time, She would stomp at night and A LOT of other stuff.  If I also had to describe my brothers, they are on a WHOLE other level. Like a whole other level. In the morning before school I get ready for school then I wake up my brother. But everytime I do I have to act like I hit my head on the wall or the bed. Don't worry I put a pillow on the wall and I just  hit my head on the mattress of the bed. Then I wake  my other brother Chris. I reckon he's the most annoyingest in my family. Everynight he tries to wake me up, probably in the middle of the night sometimes. But he doesn't. 

Hello my name is Himaseli and I like to be funny because I like people rto smile.  I am smart and I am good at drawing. I like to eat vegetables because they are very sweet. The Thing I like to do is play games with my sisters because it is fun.
My goal is learning my reading and writing. I am determined to show that I have success for my family. My mum is working hard for us. 

Kia ora my name is Junior Iakimo, I am 9 years old and I’m in Kahu 5. My little sister’s name is Rima Iakmo and she is 8 years old. My big sister’s name is Here Iakmo and  she is 11 years old. My mom cleans up the house while me and my sisters are at school and my dad goes to work while my mom cleans up the house. My favourite sport is cricket. I play cricket with my family because It’s fun and we take turns when the batters are out we get random turns once the batters are out.

What I like to eat is unhealthy… it's pizza my most favourite food of all. Mostly because once I have 5 dollars I buy a pepperoni pizza for myself and sometimes my dad wants my pepperoni pizza.

I don’t like veggies because all the time when it’s dinner time it gets very annoying to me  when my mum makes them all the time. 

When I grow up I will be a youtube gamer with my best friend Cortez, because It's my only dream to be one like my on my favourite youtubers Coryxkenshin, Flamingo and Messyourself Preston, because I watch them all the time after school or in the weekend. I also like playing games on my PS4.  I play Fortnite, Human Fall Flat and the Lego Movie Part 2 game, because it makes me stay awake until night in the holidays..

My school goal is to be the best reader I can be to complete my school goal.

Kia ora my name is Kingston and my favourite sport is rugby league because when I am on the field I like to bump off kids that talk negatively and make me angry. One of my talents is that I can turn my tongue into a worm. I hate going shopping because sometimes I'm tired from school. Other times I'm too lazy and bored.
One of my school goals is to try and work as hard as I can and try to get the Bairds Mainfreight Award. 
My favourite food is pizza because I like the taste of it and how the crust is so crispy. 
I have a really talented family and they can do tricks that I can't do.
I think every year six in the school should make the most of it this year because it's their last year and it will be sad for them to leave. I think I should do most of it this year because it will be sad to leave Bairds Mainfreight Primary School.

Hi there my name is Krystibella and I love going to school to see my FRIENDS because they are amazing. My friends are Tyrayna, Raquel, Mary and Locklyn. I love my friends but sometimes they can be a little bit annoying. 
I like to sing, go on youtube, sleep, practise my time tables, do art, eat food and spend time with my family. 
I don't like spiders, ghosts, and mean people mostly just scary things because they freak me out.  
My favourite food is a quarter pounder, a cheeseburger with a medium fries and an ice cold milk thick shake, but when I am home I like to eat half a small watermelon in the summer. Sometimes in the Winter I can have a hot cocoa yum! 
I love my family. I have three older brothers, a mum, a dad, an uncle and a lovely papa, but my uncle moved out. Damien is the oldest and very smart, Johnny is very athletic, Nick is very funny but sometimes a bit rough but I don't mind. 
My goal for this year is to try and make it into the netball team!!! And I will try and win the first game for my grandmother who passed away.

Talofa Lava, and welcome to my 2020 blog intro. My name is 
Anuilagi Fergie Robertson Tusa and I am Samoan and Scottish.
Some people think or thought that I am Samoan and Tongan because I pretend to be. I also ask my best friend Mele U  to teach me since she is Tongan.
 My amazing talents would be to turn my left arm all the way around, and when I turn it back around it looks kinda creepy so..yeah.
I can also make a snake with my hands and my last but not least talent (this one is the best) I can sleep all day nearly everyone can do that but I’m the best. I broke my arm when I was about 6 years old. I didn’t break my arm by doing something daring, I broke my arm by leaning on two chairs… weird right.
Things I like to do are swimming, sleeping and of course eating. Even though I’m so skinny I kinda eat more than my mum and dad. So don’t be fooled. I like to swim because it makes me relaxed and I like being relaxed,  it has a good feeling to it. I also like to sleep because well who doesn’t.
I hate it when people burp. (don't use hate it’s a bad word). I hate when people burp so much that I would rather have my dad snoring all night in his beauty sleep so I can’t sleep.
My whole family came from Samoa but my mum’s last name is Robertson and the Robertsons are from Scotland. I have two brothers (Posala and Tavita ) and my mum and dad (Lemasani is my mum and Pule or Pa’a is my dad). Our last name is Tusa. Tusa is also my uncle’s and my grandpa’s name.
My goal for this year is to join all the sports even though I’m not that sporty and win the Mainfreight Award. I am maybe the third fastest person in my class for the girls.  If you see me in 2021 or 2022 I’m not going to be at Bairds Mainfreight Primary School, I will be a big girl and I will be at Intermediate. Kia ora my name is Locklyn and I’m 10 years old. I have five annoying brothers and one clever sister.

I love coming to school, and seeing everyone playing happily. Most of all I like seeing my friends having most of the fun during play time and lunch time.

One of the things I love doing inside and outside of school is singing. Singing is probably one of the best talents I've got.

Two of the best foods I've eaten is a Big Mac burger and hot fries that come with a medium sized frozen Coke... Delicious!

My goal this year is to achieve my times tables,  improve my maths and to get a higher stage than I'm already on for my Nana.

Talofa my name is Mary, I am 10 years old and I go to BMPS because it is a primary school. I like going to BMPS but the first time I came here I was shy but I’m not anymore. I have six people in my family. I have a mum and a dad called Hana and Konelio. I have 3 brothers and their names are Konelio, Gafatasi and Irae. I am the only sister in my family and my brothers are nice and kind .But my brother Gafatasi is sometimes mean and my other brothers are nice.

The food that I like is popcorn and a sandwich because they are delicious and yummy even the sandwich is so healthy. There is lettuce, carrots and onions and its good for you.

The thing I like to do is play with my friends

Locklyn, Krystibella, Raquel and Tyrayna because they like to play and have so much fun. I love to come to school and see everyone so happy and wonderful.

I don’t like playing by myself because I hate it if I am lonely and sad.

Kia Ora my name is Matthew Akatika and I am in Kahu 5. I just turned 10 years old on February the 7th.
I am good at Cricket because I keep on practising at school and sometimes I practise Cricket at home with my brother at the back of the house.
My favorite foods are chicken and chips, Burger King and Subway because when I first tried them it was magnificent.
The thing that I really don’t like is KF because I really hate their chicken.
My talent is doing eating challenges. Sometimes I do eating challenges with my brother, sister and cousin.
My family sometimes gets money from people. My sister, my brother and I get money from our dad, nana, and cousin.
At school sometimes I like to play tag with my friends or ball tiggy.

Malo lei lei my beautiful name is Mele Vailanu Vaiomolou Uhatahi.  I am ten years old and my birthday is in February. I go to Bairds Mainfreight Primary School. I was named after my nana’s sister. I’m full Tongan and I have an annoying twin sister and an older brother. I have a lovely family and two siblings. My sister's name is Ana and my brother's name is Vai. If you're wondering what my mum's name is, it is Velonika Uhatahi and my dad's name is Taniela Uhatahi. My siblings are sometimes kind but mostly mean but I still love them. Whenever my parents tell me what to do I always get angry but I still do it because I love them just as much as my siblings.
If you guys are wondering what my talents are, they are  that I’m good at some sports, singing, dancing and just a little bit of some Tongan words.
Things I like to do are hanging out with my family, going to the beach and travelling to other countries with my family and some friends. I like to eat Tongan food like Lu and my favourite drink is otai because it’s juicy and it has fruit in it. My favourite sport is Volleyball because it’s fun and we can all have a go jumping up and hitting the ball.The things I don’t like is playing rugby with my brother because he always hurts me but he says sorry and I don’t like eating stuff that’s sour like a lemon.
My school goal is trying to achieve in my learning because anything is possible at our school and then try to join every sport and make sure I do well in school. If you want to remember me I’m full Tongan and have a lovely mum and dad and annoying siblings but remember even though my siblings are annoying I still love them.

Malo e lei lei my name is Mele Tufui Toafa Tupou or is it? I am 10 years old turning 11 in April. I come from a far away country called New Zealand. My talent is playing an instrument and it is called a Cello. I play it in my spare time or sometimes take it outside and show it to the whole wide world (at least I think I do).My wonderful classroom is Kahu 5.
 My favourite food is Takeaway because I like eating it with tomato sauce. My least favourite food is pickles because my mum always buys a jar of pickles and forces us to eat them because it is healthy. Another least favourite food of mine is liquorice because it tastes like grossness to my mouth and my mouth is saying “Ewww” and “Get that ugly thing away from me.”
I have four  brothers and five sisters (including me which is six).They annoy me because they ask me dumb questions like ‘Do you know who I am?’ and I say ‘Yes I do know who you are, you are my sister’. One of my brothers died and his name is T.J. He died when he was 8 months old and is now 6 yrs old.
I will tell you a joke now because I just told you something sad about my family. “Why did the teddy bear say no to dessert?” “ Because it was stuffed.” Do you get it? I bet you don’t, ok I will tell you another, “What is the strongest vegetable?” “It is a muscle sprout.”
My school goal is to try to join every sport at Bairds (except cricket because I am really bad at it or am I?) because I want the teachers that are doing the sports to remember me and the hard work I have done for Bairds Mainfreight Primary School or BMPS.
Why do I have to leave BMPS?

Kia ora My name is Paehangi Kinghazel. I'm 10 years old and I'm in Kahu Five with Miss Peters.
I live with my sister, my brother Inlaw and my mum. We live in a hotel in Papatoetoe. We used to live in the garage in between Mangere and Otara.
When I was in Taneatua, my Uncle Tama my cousins and I went hunting for food in the bush with our rifles and we went in the Jeep or on the horses to hunt for food so we could eat.
Sometimes we go for my aunty and my mum so she or my aunty can make dinner… My favourite food,  boil up with potato salad and water.
The things I don’t like are my two annoying brothers Bree and Johnny. Sometimes I play on Assassins Creed on my Xbox S1 or just go play outside with my nephews.
Sometimes my dad makes coffee or just plays on his phone or just sleeps or just watches Netflix on my xbox or just watches TV in the lounge or the room.
My brother Bree just stays in his room and plays Fortnite on his phone or just makes his bed and my brother Johnny is like Bree but he plays Fortnite on his ps4 and does not make his bed for a while until he goes for a shower or cleans his room.
My mum cleans up the house when me or my brothers make a mess or we help or I help and they help or just go into their room.
One time my uncle and my cousins went on an adventure and we climbed up a steep hill. I almost fell off but I was holding on to the tree and we made it up to the top. After that we made my cousin so mad that he chucked a cup straight for me but I moved and it hit my little cousin and he went inside and told my uncle and my cousin and us got in trouble. 

Hello my name is Peter and I’m 10 years old. I am at the best school in New Zealand, Bairds Mainfreight Primary in Otara and this is my blog introduction. First I’m going to talk about my top five favorite foods which are:  

No.1 Butter chicken. because when you bite down on the chicken with a poppadom,  that crunch with the rice and the chicken is just soooo good.

No.2 Spaghetti Bolognese. I love this dish from the bottom of my heart. The freshly cooked mince with the boiled spaghetti just fills my stomach.

No.3 Feijoa. This fruit is just soo good. Did you know that feijoa can be made into a juice? Of course you know that,  it's made by a popular drink industries starrez.

No.4 Olive. Most of you that read this will think that olives are yuck and salty but I have loved olives from a young age. When I was about two my dad thought I would hate olives but abracadabra, I loved olives and that has never changed.

And last but not least No.5 lasagne. The mince and the lasagna sheets melted on the mince… Not too crunchy not to soft just right

I love these foods because they all have one thing in common: They have a big flavour except the olive. I don't think that anyone likes olives. I'm so lonely on the olive train waiting here for some people now!!! oh wait they’re waiting for the pizza train right next topic I’m a bit of a gamer couch(level 296 on Fortnite Battle Royale and started season3) yeah I’m a bit of a gamer. 

The veggies I don't like are capsicum, onions, tomatoes and eggplant. Welp time to burn those trains

My favorite fast food is McDonalds, KFC, Subway and of course Domino's pizza. 

I have one school goal and that is to learn all of my times tables so I don't need to worry about maths in intermediate.

One of my talents is being able to run quite fast barefoot but shoes drag and slow me down like if a plane had a micro fighter attached below a bommer it would have extra drag... yeah that's a good way to describe it. 

Anyway I’m going to talk about my family. My dad is a tall strong man with a beard and my mum is gorgeous. I have one sibling but my mum loves me and my sister to pieces 

like how me and my sister love her and that's my blog introduction.

Kia ora, my name is Peyton Oaariki. I go to Bairds Mainfreight Primary School and I am in Kahu 5. I have short hair and it is light brown. I also have colored eyes. I am 9 years old and I was born on March 19th, 2010.

My favourite sport is netball. I like playing netball because it is my favourite sport and I’ve played ever since I was 5 years old.

My favourite food is hot chips.

My favourite subjects are maths and reading. My mum and dad's names are Chenelle and Francis. I have two sisters and one brother.

One thing I would like to improve at school is my handwriting. I love it at BMPS because I like hanging out with everyone.I like  spending time in the classroom where it is nice and warm.

I am a smart and nice girl. I like playing with all of my friends and having an awesome time. Something I like about my school is that everyone here is friendly and kind. BMPS is my favourite school ever. I never want to leave but someday I have to. 

Hi my name is Phnyx-Li. I was born on the 17th of  July and I am from Bairds Mainfreight Primary School. I am in Kahu 5

I like to go on video and try to beat the Kai Now. One of my talents is that I can move the top of my head up and down in a weird way.

 My favourite thing to do is to come to school, then play Dc Universe Online on my Ps4, when it's home time, after I do my homework of course because I earn more points for my traits.

My favourite food is hot chips from the bakery because of how hot it is and the salt, but what I don't like is the chicken wings from KFC, because of how dry it is.

My goal is to come to school everyday so I can't miss any of my lessons and to become a great road patroller. 

Kia ora my name is Raquel. My cultures are Cook Island, Tongan, Niuean and Maori.  I'm 9 years old.   

I go to BMPS which is the best school ever. It's an amazing school. I went here because my mum came here and it's fun, amazing, the best school ever. I have cool best friends, Krystibella ,Tyrayna, Mary and Locklyn. My goal is getting higher on my writing and a bit more on the other areas.

The thing I hate is doing my cleaning and the thing I love doing is exploring because it's fun and you get out of the house instead of being on your phone. My favourite food is sushi because it's delicious like butter chicken which is my second favourite food. I like to play with my family because it is more fun than playing by yourself but when you play with your brother it's kind of boring but at least you get to spend time with each other.  

So I’m going to talk about my family because they are a bit coo coo when I mean coo coo it means crazy like super crazy like me.  

So when it's a beautiful day we clean which is bbbbboooooringggggggg ooooooo but I do it anyways because I’ll get a hiding if I don’t and we play loud songs which is annoying because I can’t focus unless it is my songs. Then after cleaning we finally rest heyyyyyy then I go on my iPad and I know I said I like to get out of the house but were staying home so I had to play on it and it was kind of fun. When it's my family well my mum and dad are kind of boring and we stay home kind of everyday well sometimes because when  it's like a holiday we go out but when it's just a normal day it's boring all day. We stay on our phone, iPad or  PS4 which I hate because you know it's boring. Well that's all about my family well some facts.

My favorite food is veggies like carrots, corn   and salads because it is healthy and good.

My favorite animal is a leopard because it runs fast and it is from the cat family.

I have six people in my family, my mum is Mae, my dad Wayne,my big brother Murray and my two sisters are Waina and Mystryx.

When I was little like a baby I was supposed to be the last one but four years later Mystryx was born when I was four.

My talent is art because when I see plain old colours I  think of a way to make it a beautiful picture and if my mum and dad like it then I sign my name onto the picture and han it onto my door .

My best friends are Krystibella, Raquel, Locklyn and Mary. They are the best, but my best friend is Krystibella. I have known her for  six  years.

When I came to this school, I was scared because I knew how I would find some new friends and look at me now I have five friends.

This year I’m so happy to be with the best teacher in the school so if you're reading this you know that Miss Peters is fun, mostly with music, art and laptops. So if you are here then  be proud and think that you are the luckiest kid in BMPS.

Kia ora my name is Tyson Maxwell and I am 10 years old. I'm really good at video games that you may know such as Fortnite, Minecraft and Apex Legends. 
One thing I love is singing but I'm way too shy to sing in front of people, but soon I'm gonna try to join choir but I'm going to take a long time. 

My favorite food is McDonalds and Sushi. I love McDonalds because I love the Big Mac. Big Big Macs are so tasty that they blow my brains out! But Sushi is sooo yummy. It's really like the saddest person on Earth is crying but suddenly the funniest and the happiest person comes along and turns that sad person extremely happy. My least favourite food and I hate it so much is butter chicken. You might think, why do I hate butter chicken? Well it's because of the fat that's in it. It feels like I'm eating a person's body but really I'm just eating chicken. I barely ever ask for butter chicken but my little brother loves butter chicken so sometimes we go and get Butter chicken. I only eats the rice and I leave my chicken for My dad or little brother.

My goal to achieve in school is to be the smartest kid in my class but that would be extremely hard because a lot of other people in my class are really smart, well I wish I was the smartest one in my class but that's never going to happen, well I think it's not. 

Here’s a story. I was riding back from the park on my scooter but at night. It was so creepy that I had the shivers and then I started to hear weird voices and dogs barking. My heart beat fast because I thought something was going to happen, but I talked way too soon. I saw this car pull up next to me and the man inside said “Do you need a ride.” I said “No,”  in a nervous voice and then he showed me 50 dollars and then he said,''Get in the car and I'll give you 50 bucks. I got extremely scared, so scared that I ran off  but when I rode so fast I almost fell off. Then I went to my friend's house for safety. I asked my friend for a ride and his mum was so generous that she picked me up and took me back home safe. That story was creepy huh but that was it. It was really, really nice meeting you.

Introducing Room 11 2019

Term Three 2019 Sadly Shiah and Tomica have left us to go to another school. Shiah is moving with her family down to Taranaki and Tomica is going to a school closer to where she lives. We welcome Da-Rrell to Bairds Mainfreight and hope that he enjoys his time in Room 11.
Term Two 2019 Sadly William has left us this term to go to another school. Towards the end of Term One, Sosene joined Room 11. At the beginning of Term Two Bryce was a new addition to our class roll.

Malo lelei my name is Abigail Faith Paea and I am 10, turning 11 in September.

In my family I have three brothers, Jay, Sione and Jacob (The mean one). I also have two sisters,  Lita and Anitilose. I have an awesome mum named Lini and a dad named Sam. I come from a small country named Tongan and a village called Ma'ufanga.

My favorite sport is rugby because I like tackling people down. I also like touch, cricket and league. I am very fast.

Another hobby of mine is eating. I eat all the time. My favorite drink is Otai. Otai is a Tongan drink that is made with fruit juice and has bits of fruit in it. I also like sushi, watermelon, oranges and lu.

I have one thing that I hate and that is when people eat with their mouth open.

My goal for school is to be in TLC because I want to  make a change and be a role model for my school.

I guess that's all you need to know. Ohh and one more thing... if you tell my brother I said he’s mean I am dead meat. Bye.

Talofa lava my name is Allando, I am Samoan and I am ten years old. My birthday is on January the 30th. I have one older brother, a younger brother and one younger sister and that makes double the trouble. They will always annoy me when I wake up they always do pranks on me.

My favourite food is butter chicken with rice. I really HATE it when my aunty tries to cook cupcakes when she severs it and I take one bite it is not that good so I pretend it is yum. I  give her a hug and go so I can spit it out. I like to play on my Xbox 360.

Activities I like are sports like rugby, cricket, soccer. My goal for this year is to try to make it into all of the sports teams and try to get an award for prize giving.

 When I graduate and finish primary I will always remember my moments with my beautiful teacher, Miss Peters.       

Kia orana my name is April. I am 10 years old. I have four brothers and seven sisters,  that makes 11. I live in New Zealand and I go to Bairds Mainfreight Primary School. It is my second year in Room 11.
My favorite foods are sushi and vegetables. I like it because they are yyyuuuummm and healthy for you.

The sport that love is netball because it is fun to play and you can play with your friends and your family. It is all about sportsmanship.  
My family is kind and funny and  loving. I love them so much that they have all of my  heart.
My family is the best. They told me to dance for my uncle’s 50th  birthday. It was so they would be happy and I was happy to.
One goal that I need to work on is maths because it is the most hardest thing for me. I need to work on all of my timetables and it is hard for me. I can't do it by myself  and I need someone to help me and that is my teacher Miss Peters.

Kia Ora, my name is Brian and I am 10 years old. I have two brilliant siblings that I love.I have two things I am amazing at. I am good at playing the cello. I have been playing the cello for four years now and the only reason I play the cello is because I love playing music. I am also good at staring competitions. I can beat anyone except a person named Zantye.

My hobbies are singing in my own time. In 2018 I joined Choir. In Choir you have to sing and I enjoy choir because I love to sing.

My favourite sport is netball because you have to think and you run a lot, and the important part is that I have fun playing netball. It's a fun sport.

I have disgusting foods that I don’t like and I have delicious foods that I love. The food I love to eat is sushi because the salmon, avocado and rice together make a yummy taste. The foods I most HATE are most vegetables. I know vegetables are supposed to healthy, but to me they aren’t. I don't like capsicums and I don't like cabbage and that's the end of it.

My goal for 2019 is to get the Sunshine Award  which is all about me being bright, helpful and having a go at everything. I also want to push myself to interact in all subjects.

I hope the senior children of 2019 make Bairds Mainfreight better than all the other years.

Hello, my name is Bryce and I am 9 years old. I like to have some alone time after school when my cousin has finished annoying me. But I also like to annoy him when he is mean. What I don't like 99% of the time is my cousin annoying me and trying to hit me. My defence is to tickle him because he is ticklish. I am good at computer games where I beat my cousin.

My favourite thing to do then is to play Nintendo Switch. My favourite sports are rugby and touch. I played rugby league when I was five but now I don't. Last year I did Karate which was fun and hard at the same time.

My favourite junk food is chilli doritos and my favourite normal food is butter chicken.


I am good at doing back flips on my knees on the trampoline. I have three houses on the one property. and twelve people in my family.

Kia ora and ‘sup my name is Colin M. I am 10 years old and I like doing bombs at the wharf. I am pretty good at hockey and I've even won a medal. I like to jam on my PS4 all night long.

I hate eating eel because I sometimes think it's going to slither down my throat and any other type of fish is YUCK as well.

My mum has six kids including me. I have four sisters and one brother. My family is kinda big but my extended family is HUMONGOUS!!! It’s like I have 500 people in my family plus there's heaps of noise.

This year I want to focus on doing well in my maths, writing and reading and try to get into some of the sports teams too.

Kia ora my name is Darrell and I am ten years old. My birthday is February the 28th. I was born in 2009 and I was brought up in Otara. Sports is amazing and my favorite sport is rugby. The club I play for is Otara Scorpions and my team’s name is Tornado Stingers. My favorite food is butter chicken and rice. The reason I like butter chicken is that it is very yummy. I love to go to the movies. My favourite movie to watch is Hobs and Shawane (Fast and Furious 9). I also like to go out to eat butter chicken with my dad and my two older brothers. I love to prank my sister on April Fools Day by putting a bowl of powder and water on her door than when she walks into the room I hide under her bed and when it drops I laugh like a high pitched hyena.

Fakalofa lahi atu my name is Demitrji Falemaka and I am 10 years old and new to Room 11 this year. It will be a wonderful experience with Miss Peters.

Now I would like to tell you about my family.  So I have too many people in my house. I can’t recount them all. Well here we go, ok, so I live with my sister…  believe me she is always dramatic, my grandad (He is like the best of them all.) Now my nana, all she does is sleep, don't worry she has a good reason she goes work  at 10:30pm. My mum and dad, they don't tell me to do anything except to look after my dogs, Cookie and Brownie.

You guys want to here about me right, well... my favorite foods are McDonalds and Burger King. My favorite thing at home is playing with my dogs.

My school goal is to be a better author and to play more sports at Bairds Mainfreight.

The reason why I HATE cats but I like dogs is that dogs are trained. Cats  play with babies cats, they just look for fish and hit the glass.

When I finish primary my memorable moment is graduation and Miss Peters has myback for the year.

Talofa lava my name is Destiny Tautai,  I am 10 years old and I am Samoan. My birthday is on August the 18th  and I was born 2008. I live in Pakuranga and just moved there three months ago. I go to Bairds Mainfreight  and I am in the wonderful Room 11 with the best teacher, Miss Peters.

In my house live a beautiful bunch of people. My mum, my dad, my brother, who comes to the same school, and lastly my uncle.

My favourite food is sushi. I  sometimes ask my mum if I can have sushi for dinner and she sometimes say yes or no because sometimes it's too late and sometimes it's not too late, it's early.

I am sure I only have one talent in my mind which is that I am good at maths which sometimes I’m not good at it but that's the only talent I can think of right now. My parents think I’m good at maths.

The thing I like to do is sleep and relax so I always do it in holidays.

The other thing I like to do in school and home is maths and reading, why? Because reading will help me to use interesting words for my writing and maths because it's good and amazing to have number knowledge.

In my family for loudness,  from 0-10, I'll give them a 0 but for kindness and loving me I’ll give them a 10 obviously. Sometimes my brother asks me  “Do you have two dollar to buy me something?’’ then I say ‘’ Sorry but no, go ask mum,‘’ then he goes stomping down the stairs. One more thing is my grandma is the only one who remembers my birthday. The thing that I don't like about my family is that my parents don't even remember my own birthday WOW!!

One important goal I really want to achieve in 2019 is to keep reading interesting books.  My maths is just AMAZING!! I have number knowledge to learn at BMPS.

My goal for 2019 is  that I would love to join TLC and keep the environment nice and clean for other people and children.  In my writing I want to be more positive and to add to that I would need to read more adult books and also I would love to be better at my maths and learn some more.

The most memorable time in the last year as a  senior kid was when the beautiful and lovely senior teachers planned to take our wonderful senior syndicate to Rainbows End and imagine how expensive it is to pay for the bus and for Rainbows End. WOW! that's would be way EXPENSIVE!! But the senior children had to pay their fees to be able to go to this amazing trip and others. I look forward  to having a wonderful year in this wonderful class, Room 11 with the interesting, wonderful teacher Miss Peters.

Talofa lava my name is Esila but you can call me nature boy. I am 10 years of age. I love to play a lot of sport like cricket, rugby and touch. I have five sisters and three brothers, but  they do not live all with me, they live in Brisbane. Here in Auckland it is just me, my sister and my mum and dad.

Did you know that my favorite food is KFC and do you know the yuckiest food I ever ate was… peanuts. Peanuts are evil and mean and taste disgusting.    

Does anyone like reading?  Well I LOVE reading because you can learn lots of stuff like how flowers grow and nature. You can learn all about nature. I just love nature all the animals, the Sahara Desert and all the insects in it. Did you know that when flies lay their eggs, they lay it on a mosquito and when a mosquito comes and sucks your blood the eggs fall on you. They are small eggs so you won't see it or feel it. Then the larvae goes inside you.  But there's a good side. Once it's a fully grown a adult fly will come out of your body and fly away.

My goal is to practise my times tables everyday so that I can get better and faster.

Kia ora my name is Ezrah and I am ten years of age. I love playing sport like rugby or cricket. I have two sisters and four brothers including me. I am the youngest  in my family, and being the youngest is the best.

Did you know that McDonalds is my favorite. One,  because when they make their McChicken Burger they make it crispy and delicious. The thing that I don't like is the fish burger. The fish is too soft and when you take a bite it's just YUCK. I only like the sauce. The sauce has mayo and other ingredients.

Does anyone love their family more than I do? Well I think I love my family more than anyone else. My family will take me pretty much everywhere. By the end of this year we are off to Raro/Rarotonga for three weeks. My family is Christian including me. We go to a Church in Otara across the road from our house. But we are not always the first one there. The church is called Pentecostal Church of Otara.

My goal is to come to school every day and to never miss school.

One thing I won’t forget is going as a family to Goat Island. It was amazing because we saw huge snapper while we were snorkeling. They looked friendly and they swam around us.  

Hi  my name is Evalonie and I am 10 years old.  I am Samoan and half Tongan. I was born in New Zealand and I love my four sisters so much. I like cooking with my mum and dad because I love eating.
I love maths because I like getting smarter than my sisters. I also love writing because it gives me lots of ideas for my next writing. I like playing with my sisters but sometimes they are so annoying.

My favorite candies are chocolate, lollipops and bubble gum. I hate licorice, onions and cooked potatoes. My favorite colour is blue and I hate pink because I’m not too girly girly. I love my long hair because you can do different hairstyles not like boys, well some boys.  My favorite sport is soccer because my Mum played soccer and I wanna be just like her.

I have four brothers and one of them doesn’t live with me and one of them died and his name is Tj.  He was the second youngest and he died when he was two years old. I miss him so much. I have three brothers now but I know he’s always in my heart.

My favorite trip in 2018 was going to the Zoo because the animals are cute, fluffy or hard and fun to play with. Even though I don’t have a pet I wish I had one like a cat, dog or something that is small and that can be in houses. I’m looking forward to the holidays because we might move but we are staying in the same school. I don’t really wanna move but I have no choice.

My goal is doing time tables because I’m not really good at it or my decimals because it's really hard.  I learned it last year but this year it is harder.

Firstly, at Bairds Mainfreight Primary School  I would like to join sports like touch, union,  league and also cricket so I can learn about different sports. Now I will tell you about the things that I like to eat. So my favourite food are McDonalds and KFC. I have one sister and three brothers. My sister hated McDonalds and liked KFC better than McDonalds.  
Secondly, my favourite thing to do at BMPS is to have fun at sport, and I will try out our new park.  Last year the park was broken apart.
My goal for 2019 is to do homework, and never ever miss school because if I don’t come back to school I will never learn anything.

Talofa Lava my name is George, I am 9 years old and this is my second year in Room 11. One thing I like about myself is how I do my sport and listen to the instructions. In my family I have five brothers and four sisters.  My sister is the best because she sometimes buys me food. My Mum and Dad sometimes tell me to wash the dishes and I hate it because your hands turn white and look yucky. That’s why I hate doing chores.

My favorite foods are McDonalds and Burger King because it is nice and tasty and their burgers are good and that's why I like them. My favorite sport is soccer because you just need to kick the ball in the goal and you get a point for your team. The food that I hate is broccoli because it is yuck.
My goal is to work on my homework everyday and maths and reading. My other thing is to try out for sports.

Kia ora! My name is Helaina and my surname is Oaariki. I'm 10 years old and I enjoy being a student in Rm 11. I am Maori and Cook Island. I love both of my cultures because they remind me of my family that has past on. Sadly I am not the only child. I have one brother and one sister. I love them but sometimes they can be annoying.

I like  to eat almond chocolate and ice cream on waffles because they’re sweet . I love playing on my brother’s nintendo because it has youtube and heaps of cool games.
I will always love my family and I know they will always love me. Without them I would have nothing. I love everything they do for me and especially my tenth birthday. I bet I had the best birthday in the country. We went to beyond and bounce. When I graduate and go to a different school I will remember all the special moments that I’ve had at Bairds Mainfreight like being in sports teams. But there one thing I'm going to hate which is leaving the best teacher Miss Peters. She is a kind a loving teacher and really funny. I hope I have shared enough information about me ka kete.

Kia orana my name is Henry, I’m 10 going on 11 and I’m from the Cook Islands. I live in an annoying house of 13. I am the youngest out of my siblings and the most noisiest of all.

I've participated in lots of sports such as cricket, hockey, touch, rugby league and rugby union. I’m good at these sports but the thing that I’m  best at is talking. The only time I’m not talking is in school time. The reason why is because if I talk I will receive a really bad consequence.

I love eating pizza from Dominoes and I love to play Fortnite, Call of Duty and 2K17. I also love playing my cello and doing duets with my family. The last thing I love doing is playing the ukulele and  drums.

My house is full of thirteen annoying people, ( not including me ) and you may think it’s too crowded and treacherous but in the end we still make the magic happen. That’s what makes my family, my family.

My school goal for the end of the year is to improve in all learning areas and to make lots and lots of new friends. I’m heartbroken because this is my last year at this school but I’ll still visit.I wish everybody a happy 2019.

Kia ora my name is Jahzay Cowley-Kingi and I am 9 years old. I was born in 2009 and my birthday is March the 6th.  My mum wanted to call me Jahzay but my dad did not like that name he wanted to call me Saiyan. I’ve got two bad brothers that I have to look after at school and I hate it.

I enjoy being in Room 11 because I get to do cool things with my friends and I have a cool teacher too. I like to learn maths at school because I need to know my timetables.
My favorite food is seafood it is really yum but I don't like  muslims muslims tast really bad YUCK.
My goal for 2019 is to play as many spots as I can before I go to intermediate. I’m going to miss my school. Schools are fun but once I go to intermediate I'm done.

Kia ora my name is James and I am new to Room 11. This year will be the best year in Room 11. Now l am going to tell you about my family. I don't have many sisters and brothers, I have one sister and two brothers. I live in Franklin Road. My favourite

sports are touch, soccer and rugby league but manly it is rugby league because I am pretty good at it.  My favourite foods are BK’s, McDonalds and fish and chips but I don't like eating seafood because it is so juicy and YUCK and if I eat seafood my tummy will hurt so bad.

My goal is to listen to instructions from teachers and practise

reading, maths and writing at home and school and doing homework every day.

One thing I will not forget is when me and my family were going to New Plymouth and watching my sister play Netball and the best thing was when my sister’s came first and I saw a big mountain with snow.

Hello my name is Kane Pule’anga and I am 10 years old. I’m not very smart for my age but hey like my mum and dad always said brawns and brains. I am the youngest out of four children from my family. I enjoy being at Bairds, seeing all my friends,  learning to read and doing math. My favorite thing to do at school or any where is to draw.

My talents are tag, rugby, soccer, running and many more to come.
The games I like to play are Fortnite and Pixel Gun 3D. I like Fortnite because you can build walls when the attacker is coming.
 My favorite things to eat are probably seaweed, steak and pancakes.I live in a family of six, my brother, my two sisters as well as my two parents and me.

This year I'm probably going to go for the sports award because I just like sport.

I still remember day I came into Room 11 and I was nervous that I would get into trouble like every other room I went into but I’m so glad that I didn’t.

Although I'm looking forward to a new year and a new school next year, I’m sad to be leaving this one behind.

Kia ora my name is Laurel Haitoua I’ve been a student in Room 11 for almost two years.  My culture is Maori, Cook island and Niuean.

I have been in choir and voice club.

I’m only 10 turning 11 in September. I’m getting old so that I’m going

to intermediate next year in 2020. Intermediate will be different for a change because I’ve been at Bairds for almost six years and this is my last year.
I love doing sports like netball, touch, rugby and cricket. Sports is one of my favorite activities at school and at home.

I LOVE FOOD! Food is like my favorite thing to eat of COURSE. My favorite food is fruit because it's fresh and I love eating it on hot days.

I live with my sister, my brother, my dad, my mum and my nana. I also have two dogs.

My brother always shuts his door on me when I really want to play FORTNITE. I love fortnite! I’m a noob at it but in my opinion I would say I’m good.

My favorite subject is maths because it has numbers and I love solving things in maths. I LOVE MATHS.

I also want to be in TLC to be a role model for my last year of school.

Kia Orana, My name Is Merceius Tuhimata and I am ten years old, turning eleven in August. I have a very big family that is scattered all over Otara and the islands of Manihiki. When it comes to special things like birthdays and anniversaries it's cool when my family comes together because I always see my cousins and we get to go out and have fun adventures at the park or in our own imagination. I am Maori, Cook Island and Samoan. I have three brother two sisters and they drive me insane including my new baby brother.  I always want to look after him so my mum can relax.

When the sun is way too hot we get the hose and cool down in the shade but sometimes we go to the pools.

My favourite foods are sushi, spaghetti and butter chicken, mostly hot foods. The sports that I like to play are netball, touch, soccer and tag with my family and friends. My favourite fruits are apples, kiwi fruit, watermelon and banana.

My goal this year is join more sports and improve my reading, writing and mostly maths to reach more goals in the future.

There is only one girl in my family and that is me.  I have three brothers. I love them so much. I love Bairds Mainfreight Primary School. I have been here for  two years.

My favorite sports are soccer, touch and netball because they help you to use your brain and move your body and you get to learn some sport.
My family is full Maori. My family is the best in the world. They are my love birds in a tree.

My goal for this year is to improve my maths.

Hi my name is Michael and I’m 10 years old. I have three brothers and their names are Derdre who started high school today and Marlon who started primary today and Mana who is in kindergarten.  

My mum and dad named me Michael because my dad’s name is Michael and my dad got his name from his grandpa.

My favorite activities are sports and school. One reason I like these things is because it's fun and cool to do and because I get to hang out with my friends. I also like travelling because it’s fun to experience new parts of New Zealand.

My school goals are to be a good student and a good role model for my little brother.

One of my talents is that I can do a backflip on ground and I have good skills in sports like my dad. I have competed in lots of sports like rugby league, touch, tag, and others. My mum is also good at sports. She is good at netball, touch and boxing. One memory is when my dad and I had a sore leg we always said “You’re welcome to the bung knee club!”

Talofa! My name is Mikaylah Luatua Tuala and I’m 10 years old. I love being a student in Room 11 because I have a lot of great friends. I have three sisters who make a lot of trouble, followed by one brother. I enjoy being in the middle because I love getting them into big trouble. My family is a bit psycho when it comes to sport. At least everyone in my family has played a sport. The people I live with are my three sisters, my one brother, two aunties and my mum and dad.

The food I love is hazelnut chocolate. I love it so much, I couldn't possibly live without it.  I love it when it melts because I can pick out the nuts and eat them. I absolutely HATE tomatoes with all my heart and soul.  It’s just too sweet and too disgusting. I’ve always hated tomatoes since I was a little girl.

I am very good at sports. I joined several teams last year such as, rugby league, rugby and Saturday hockey. I have committed to every sport I have joined just like a real sports person should do. This year I have tried out for school cricket and will try my best.

My favorite thing to do is read. I love MY STORY books because they have powerful and emotional words. One of my favourite books to read is Run written by Linda Aksomitis. I’m not like a normal kid who reads at my level. I love sophisticated books above my level.

My goal for this year is to join as many sports teams as I can and win the Sunshine Award. I’ve only won one certificate, and that was the Citizenship Award, five years ago. My most memorable moment was when my name got called for the Citizenship Award and I walked up on stage feeling nervous and proud. I hope to create many more positive memories before I go to Intermediate.

Malo e leilei my name is Nanasi and I come from Tonga. I am 11 years old and have only been in New Zealand for two years. We have just moved house so we have changed schools.  In my family there is mum, dad, four sisters and five brothers. Five of us go to Bairds Mainfreight.

At school my favourite things to do are art and maths. I don’t like it when people are mean to each other.

My favourite food.. I love everything. There is nothing I don’t like.

I love sport and I like playing rugby, soccer, basketball, touch and I’m quite good.  

I am a friendly, smiley person who likes to make new friends.

Kia orana, my name is Ocean and I am 10 years old. I am Niuean and Maori and I love being theses Cultures. Having lots of sibling is tricky and insane including my brother. He is annoying when my cousins and friends come over.

My favourite foods are sushi, Wendy's, butter chicken, vegetables, Burger King and Krispy Kreme because they are really good foods to eat. My favourite thing to do is to spend lots of time with my family when I'm always bored.  Not only that but my baby brother makes us laugh out loud.

The thing I like to do and that I always do when it's not school is relax. The other thing that I mostly do is learn maths and reading at school because I  love reading books so I can become brave and read lots of books.

I love doing sports like rugby and touch, because it's fun when you play. Also you can become like those older kids because they are really good. The reason why I like these kinds of sports is because I can keep up when I am older and remember all the sports I did when I was in primary.

My favorite subjects are Maths and Reading so I can be better and learn more about these subjects.

My goal this year as a year 6 is to not be shy when it comes to graduation.

Hello my name is Peter. I am 9 years old. At the moment I am in Room 11 for the rest of the year. My teacher’s name is Miss Peters. She sometimes makes funny jokes and I think that they are really cool but a bit silly.

My favorite food is butter chicken and the food that I HATE is sushi. It tastes like seaweed and I have heard of people who have found maggots in the rice.

I like to play with Eru at school but we are neighbours so we get to play at home too. We always play hide and seek and he likes to hide on the roof of the shelter in his yard. It has really tall grass underneath it.

My favourite thing to do at school is draw and write.

My goal for this year is to listen to the teacher and not talk when she is talking.

Yesterday my dad was singing when randomly a message came up. It sounded like it was saying “Do you want a vacation?” in a funny voice but really it was saying “You have a notification.” We cracked up laughing.

Hello down there.  Aaah hello, hi there, my name is Rangi Nevaeh Tapara. I am 10 years old and turning 11 on April the19th 2019. I have three younger brothers and also a younger sister who sadly passed away after a week of living. Her name you ask she was Mere. I also have other siblings that I have never meet. We are Samoan and Maori. We come from a small town named Te Kuiti in New Zealand.

I have two goals for 2019 and they are to try my best and never give up.

My favorite food is…pizza and cookie dough ice cream. Man I can eat those all day, everyday. That is how much I love food. The other reason why I love food because it tastes so so delicious.

Hey hear me out if you are a parent and you have to start sending your kid to school you should send them to Bairds Mainfreight Primary School because they are so so kind and they will care about your kid, trust me. Anyway my favorite thing to do at school is reading because when bad things happen I can just go and read a book to keep my mind off of what's going around me.

My favorite thing to do with my family is going out to have fun. We just love spending time together because we love each other so much.

Hi, I am Shiah Andrew. I am 10 year old my name Shiah comes from Yorkshire, a place in England. That's where my grandparents come from. I’m new to Room 11 so bare with me.

Sadly I am not an only child. I have two unusual sisters that have made life a lot harder. I'm the second child which means if someone gets in trouble it automatically makes me the one to blame. I am the trouble maker and that’s something they always get right.

Me, well I’m not too much of sporty kid. I'm more of a mathlete. Last year I won the overall academic award  but I play hockey for Bairds and that's about it. I love it sooo much although you can get hit, bruised and maybe a hockey stick to the head, it's a thrilling experience.

I absolutely dread the smell of pumpkin. It is just unbearable. The air is filled with smells of well I can't describe it…  it's just yuck! I just can't stand it!

I'm looking forward to graduation and I am looking at some people my friends might pick. I don't really care. I just will dance with my friends and enjoy the time. It's the last year so I’d better make it count.  

Talofa my name is Sosene. I am ten years old. There are nine people living in my house. It is a very busy house with so many people.

My favourite food is chicken and chicken patties with bread.

My favourite sport is basketball because at my old school we came first play in a tournament. I used to go to Manurewa West Primary School but we moved house. My favourite game to play is G Switch on the computer. I am quite good at it.

Malo lelei, my name is Vaivelata Uhatahi, I’m Tongan and the oldest of three siblings. This year I’m in Room Eleven for the second time and I  have a teacher who can sometimes tell funny jokes, most of them are dry or only she gets it. Sadly this year is my last but I will always come back and visit because Bairds is the best school ever.

Reading and writing are subjects that I’m very good at. Maths on the other hand, needs much more work and focusing on.

My favourite sports are rugby, cricket, touch, netball and hockey because they all involve teamwork.   

I like to play video games like Fortnite or board games. On family nights we usually play chess or checkers.

My favourite food is a big hot steak and cheese bakery pie. One food that I HATE is cucumber because some are sour.

My school goal is to be a role model for younger kids, to be at school every day, and to make my family proud.  

Kia ora my name is William, I am 9 years old and I was born in 2009. I’ve got two brothers and five sisters. What I like to do is to play is basketball and rippa rugby. What I like to eat is McDonalds because I like their big mac and coke drink with ice.

My goal is to work on my maths, reading, writing and all those thing but the thing I need to work on most is maths. Maths is the most important thing I need to work on at school or anywhere else, even at home even if I have homework to do.

At night my mum and my aunt are always outside and we’re inside watching TV  like cartoons because we have a Sky TV so that we can watch cartoon and movies. We have to put on the little kids movies. My little cousins want to watch paw patrol so that is what we have to watch. We had to sleep outside in the tent. When we wake up, we go inside and we sometimes make a mess in our kitchen and we have to clean it up. We always get a growling.                                       

Talofa my name is Zantye Sheppard, I am ten years old and I come from Samoa. I have two brothers and I go to this amazing school name Bairds Mainfreight. I have eight friends here in this lovely BMPS school. I also  have this amazing teacher in room 11 for two years and it is good to have Miss Peters as my teacher.

There are four things that I like to do at Bairds Mainfreight. I love to play sports, reading books, singing and learning new things. My favorite sports are tennis, rugby, touch, rugby league and I also love sprinting and the important part is that we get to have fun.

My favorite food is chicken avocado sandwich, butter chicken and I also love fruits as well. Not all of them because some of them are sour but mostly my favorite ones are grapes, oranges, banana, apple, mandarin and strawberries.

In my family we like to have dinner together and have fun. Sometimes my cousin and I like to make stuff together such as airplanes and drawing stuff but sometimes we end up in a fight.

My favorite trip in 2018 was to Rainbows End because we got to go on heaps of rides and going to Rainbows End is expensive. It costs $100 or $50 and it was AMAZING. My family was excited about going on the rides. We went on the Stratosphere three times and we went on the fearfall one time because it is so high. I was a little bit scared but it was fun.

My first goal for this year is to make it into TLC and also to make all of the sports teams  in BMPS and also I need to learn all of my times table by heart and keep reading new books and achieving new things.

We have people come and go over the last two terms. Tawrus, Phaydra and Jemiah left us to go to different schools. Jayzay joined us in term two and Silas came today. I know the boys in Room 11 are happy to have some more boys joining them.

Boosting the girl population of Room 11, we have two new additions to our class. Honey came to us from Viscount Primary School but originally she is from Kaitaia. Ngapera has joined us from Castlecliff in Whanganui.

Hi, my name is Honey and I am ten years old. I like to play touch rugby and cricket. I played touch in Kaitaia for my school and I played cricket at Viscount.

I like to eat seafood but I don’t like mussels and oysters because they are juicy and the taste is gross.

I like swimming in the pool and at the beach. I like having swimming races because I’m good at backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.

Hi, my name is Ngapera and I am nine years old. I like to play sports like touch and soccer

My favorite food is prawns and shrimp and waffles.  I don’t like squid and octopus because they taste disgusting.

I like to get up early for school.

I have six sisters one brother and my mum and dad.

Malo lelei my name is Vai, I am 9 years old and in Room 11. I have not one but two sisters which means double the trouble. I always pick on my sisters when they get cheeky. Im very smart. I really like soccer because I get an amazing feeling when I score and I like that it involves teamwork.

I like to spend precious time with my loving family. My family always  encourage me and my younger sisters to do things we've never done before.  

I like sports because it gets you fit and you can pass it down to your kids, who will pass it down to their kids, and it will be so amazing seeing your kids playing games from the old days and they will keep the games alive.
I love butter chicken. It's the most scrumptious,  most delicious thing ever but here comes things I hate. I hate cheese it smells disgusting and tastes like dog food. Another thing I hate is  green beans. They taste like grass so I just don’t go near it. I also hate doing my chores. I go to school and I'm so tired,  then I have to do chores and I get even more exhausted.
My goal for this year is to try to get a good education and be  a fantastic role model for younger kids.

Hi, my name is Ezrah. I am 8 years old and I live on Bairds Road.

My favorite instrument is cello because I thought it was me and because of the beautiful nice smooth music.

My favorite food is steak because it is nice and tender.

The food I don’t like is liver because when I tried it,  it tasted like rotten meat “Eww yuck!”

My favorite part of the day is spending time with my happy family.

They always tell me funny things like my dad says he’s the big man and try not to laugh. They always try to change their voices to be different characters and that makes me keep laughing. I love my family as much as sparkling gold.

My goal is to improve my maths and my writing so that I’m a good writer.    

Kia orana, my name is Henry and I am nine years old going on ten. I live in Otara,  Auckland.

I really love sports despite the fact that I have training everyday.  I am very very good at it because I got picked to be captain for my tag team but I didn’t  really do much on the field like a captain is supposed to do. But now I think that I can do better than before.
Another thing that I am a pro at is playing the cello and to prove that I am good at playing cello I once played for the prime minister. I also got to teach the prime minister how to play the cello.
I adore maths at school and at home. I also like doing it with my annoying niece and sometimes I have maths competitions with her. I always win because as soon as I get more points than her she starts crying and then she quits.
Something I am really good at is bullying my family.
The thing that I despise so much is eating vegetables. The reason I don't like them is because it tastes disgusting. Another thing that I hate is dogs but I do like small puppies that are cute.
My one goal for this is to get better at  maths and my literacy.
A interesting fact about me is that I was named after Henry Williams the person who translated the Treaty of Waitangi for the Maori people. Henry is my great great great great great grandfather’s name.

Kia ora, my name is Carson but Cj for short and  I am ten years old.

Did you know that I’ve been cooking since I was five but my favorite meal to cook was nutella sandwiches  but now my menu has expanded and my specialty is peanut butter and jam.
I really like sports because when I was little I dreamed of being just like my uncles but it didn't really work out. I did what any little kid would do, I ran. I  had the ball in my hand so I had to score so I ran past the fullback and there it was the beautiful try line the time was running out,  .5..4..3..2..1.  I scored  but  for the other team. My hope vanished like a robber who had just found a million bucks right in front of him then had to give it back.
Some things I don’t really like are tomatoes, mushrooms and asparagus if your wondering why I will tell you in one simple word “bland” .
Enough about the main character and more about my family.

I had a small family once but we keep expanding each year and now we’re  stuck with twelve people in the house .

My favourite food to get is subway because I like chicken in my sandwich.

I like to sing but other people don’t like me singing around them.

Malo Lelei and Talofa lava, my name is Faith Falefata and I am 9 years old turning 10 in late March. I am also a new student to B.M.P.S and I am having a confident start.

In my house I live with my younger  sister, mom, dad, aunt, uncle and my little cousin. My little sister Mariah also comes to this school and is in Room 3.

I love being flexible, as in  I love doing the splits, bridges, backbends and all those kind of crazy things.

I hate doing too much sport, I mean I like sports but it's just that  it gives me cramps and stitches but other than that I love sport.

In my family I have my little sister Mariah who I was talking about before and she's the troublemaker in our family. I also have my older sister Betty but she lives in Australia. When she visits, which is normally in December, she comes with presents. Lastly I have my mom and dad who live with me like normal parents would do.

Last of all, my school goal for the year, I would like to take my writing stage higher.

Talofa my name is Cadell and I love playing need for speed payback. People ask me why I adore playing a game about people

driving cars at crazy  speeds  and I say because It's fun and I

think it's incredible and because I’m a bit crazy myself.

I also like nice and warm cream buns with a side of velvety smooth hot chocolate and if you don’t you must be a very very crazy person.

I adore playing need for speed because I kind of consider it as

a talent. I know you might think that's not a talent because it's

a game well your wrong.  It can  be a talent just like other things

all those people consider a talent like telling very dry jokes or singing opera which I think shouldn't be because

it sounds like sheep trying to sing.

Something I think is very disgusting  is broccoli. I’m not saying

that people who like broccoli are completely bonkers, they’re not, I’m just saying I don’t like them. I don’t know just why I don’t

like them buts it’s probably because I don’t eat vegetables.

Time to talk about my family. First up in the firing line is  daddy.

Now I don’t want to say stuff that could  get me into trouble but for the purpose of this blog it's alright. Now my dad is a bit of silly bloke because you never really know what's going on in that complex brain of his. Time for my mum. She’s not like my

dad... she’s strong , encouraging and incredibly bossy. Now I’m not saying I don’t respect her but  I am  saying for a mum she’s a bit like the the prime minister. Last up to be chewed up  by my story telling is the one, the only, my brother Darnell. Now if thought my dad was weird Darnell’s even weirder. He is known for his shyness and being lost.

Talofa lava, my  name  is  Mikaylah. I am  nine  years old and live  in  Otara. I  am  the  middle  child  which  means  my  mum  raised  four  girls  and  one  boy.

I  have  lots  of  talents  but  the one  that  shocks  most people  is  that  a  nine year  old  girl,  which  is  me,   can  put  one  eye  to  the  left and  the  other  eye  facing  forward  just  like  a  chameleon.

I adore  reading adult books  because  it  helps  me with  my  writing. Why? Because  of  the interesting  words  the  author  uses.

I  simply  hate  capsicum because  of  the  taste and  the  look  of  it. EWWW! The  food I love is mash  potatoes  and  sausages  with  gravy  and  sometimes  with  carrots. I  also  love  seaweed.

I  have  a  tiny  house, but  a  humongous  family.  My  favourite  sibling  is  the  eldest Josephine,  because  she  is  nice, calm and  helps  me  when  I’m  angry.  On  a  scale  0-10  for my  family  it  as  has  to  be  0  for  noise  level! But  for  caring  and  loving it  has  to  be  10.

My  goal  this  year  is  to  improve  my  maths  by  reaching  Mid  Level  6  or  End  Level  6.

I  will  always  remember  the  first  day  I started  school   because   as  soon  as  I  set  foot  in  Room  5  I  knew  I  would  have five awesome years at BMPS!     

Hello my name is Phaedra and I’m 8 years old. I go to BMPS and I am in  Room 11. I’m a Year Five.

I live in Otahuhu.  I play soccer at home.  Sometimes I play at the park with my dog and my brother as well.  Sometimes I go there to play with them and my Mum  comes to watch or play with us. That's  what we do when we are so bored staying home,  we just go to the  park which is just up the road from the house. And we have so much fun with each other. My dog always makes my mum laugh. Every time we go to the park, she sits down and she will start laughing about what the dog does with the soccer ball like tripping over it and biting it. Once his tooth came out and then my mum said “What are you doing now Ceezahh, you already hurt your mouth?”

Kia ora my name is Jemiah and I’m 8 years old.  I am Maori and Cook Island. I am good at maths and reading but sometimes my writing is not good whatsoever.

I like playing my playstation 3 at home because at home there is nothing to do but that. The thing I hate doing is my chores because whenever my nana or dad calls me to do them, they disturb my gaming time.

I love my family and they love me too, because if they didn’t they wouldn’t buy me all the stuff they’ve bought me. A thing about my family is that they are really annoying but cool and by cool I mean bonkers.

My mom likes to  sew. I live in a house of 10 including me.  It’s a lot so we all try our best.  My parents always tell me to do my homework before bed.                                    

I really like the food that my mum makes like chop suey, sushi and all types of food especially broccoli. There’s  nothing  better than a slice of healthy food except onions I mean they’re healthy but gross and they have a really gross taste.

In class this year we have been learning about the Treaty of   Waitangi and we found out that Henry Williams translated the Waitangi Treaty. We also have a Henry in our class who was named after him.

My goal this year is to try to improve maths and writing because this year I’m a Year Six, and it’s a new year and through the year I’m going to try my best with my friends by my side.

I like to play volleyball with my family and friends. My favourite instrument is  piano. I am the second oldest. I have two sisters and two brothers. My favourite fruit are peaches,  rock melon, bananas and apples.

My middle name is actually in the bible. My middle name is really spelt Ezekiel but my grandfather was adopted and his name was change to Ezekiela.

My great grandfather’s name is Tai-Ehu -Nga -Weke Tuhimata and he was the mayor of Tuakau and my other great grandfather was a Fijian priest.

My goal for this year is to get better at maths and reading but mostly writing. I also want to  do more sport.

I like touch because I like stepping. I love touch because I like getting a run away. Another thing I like is spending time with my family.

Hi my name is Kane Pule’anga and I am 9 years old.  I have one brother and two sisters who live with me and my parents.

My favorite thing to do is play pixel gun 3D, because you can get double jump boost.

I  hate carrots because they are hard to bite and to dry “Uuuh.”

I am very good at sports like rugby, ripper, tag and races.

I adore maths at home or at school as long as I can do it. I

also adore running races on the track.

My goal is to get better at maths because Mr VanCampen told the class to practice their time tables.

I will always remember the day I first day I came to BMPS because all of my teachers made me feel welcome.    

Talofa, my name is Brian Wilson, named after my great grandfather but  he  died from a heart attack.

My favourite food to eat is pizza as a treat, but bangers and mash are my favorite food to eat. I like bangers and mash because the bangers are half cooked and just right.

My favourite thing to do is playing on my fabulous PS4. I have cool games such as Crash Bandicoot and Basketball. I also adore singing. In 2017 at BMPSI joined Voice Club.

The food that disgust me the most is seafood and some vegetables. I don’t like capsicum because the taste of it is yuck. Kina and muscles are weird and I don’t like because when they move I get tingles in my stomach.

I have many goals at school but one of them is achieving the Mainfreight Award. I am going to work as hard as I can and try  things I cannot do to get the award.

My talent is to fall asleep as soon as I lay down. When my mom comes into my room and tells me that dinner is ready I am already asleep.

My family is a bit lazy because when everyone agrees to go to the beach ,the next day they are all like ‘’Oh I don't want to go anymore’’ and that is when all the kids have a boring day.  

When I was five  years old and I first started at Bairds Mainfreight and  I was a bit shy, but now I fine in Room 11.

Caitlin,  that's my name. I’m named after a very special person and that is my great grandmother. I come from a family of eight. I have one brother, three sisters, my aunt, my mum and my dad. I was born on November the 12th 2007.

I am the kind of girl who likes to do math,  reading, writing, and art.  I’m  the only girl in the family who likes school because of learning. The others just like it because they get to hang with their friends.

I love to eat carrots, broccoli, corn, and I like strawberry ice-cream, hokey-pokey, berry-berry, goody-goody-gumdrops and vanilla. I don’t like meat because of the chewing but I love meatballs.

Last of all I have a school goal and it is to move at least two levels in each subject and to improve my hand-writing.

My favourite sport is basketball because you can do tricks when you are shooting the ball into the hoop like a 1, 2, 3, pointer, dunks or just a classic shot.  You could verse other people or teams for something that they want like a treat, a medal or a trophy .

My talent is mostly playing video games or sprinting and playing minecraft. I like playing  minecraft because you build and use your creativity. You have to survive  nights and find orbs and the mines and make friends.

My favourite food is mostly meat because it is juicy and nutritious for you.    

My mum is the best because everytime I'm having a two month sleep over she gives me money to keep my life good. My uncle always makes my lunch and drops me at school.  My brothers always protect me and they help me when I need help.

My talent is being a wing and a center in rugby but I'm mostly a center.

My favorite thing to do is being active by going to trainings, playing outside, walking around the block and riding my bike.  

My favourite thing to eat is quite healthy. The food I like to eat is fritata but with no capsicum. I like these because they’re yummy and healthy. Things I do not like is taking revolting medicine and olives. They both make me vomit.

Something about my family is there is a huge number of us on my mum's side. I have 91 cousins, uncles and aunties all together and it’s all because my nana's mum is still alive. No wonder why I have so many.

One school goal for me is to learn my time tables and and to learn how to figure out a different way to solve a question.

I have six family members who live with me. My younger brother is very annoying because he smacks me when I am trying to sleep in.  Then we have my Dad.  He thinks he can cook better than Mum but the last time he tried, he burnt our dinner. We have my Mum and she is nice to me even when I have done something wrong. She always makes me feel good about myself.

I like to play car games with my brother. It’s a competition at times but nobody gets hurt.  That’s only when the parents leave the room but the reason it gets like this because I’m on a higher tier than him.  I’m on tier 59 and he’s on tier 31 going to tier 32.

I can put my leg on top of my head and I am a very fast runner just like my brother and sister but I'm the only one who likes very high stuff.

My awesome talent is playing games on the computer and my favorite game is gta5 and black ops2 every time. I keep killing people and they get sick of it and they start to swear at me but I don't care.

My favorite thing to do is go Rainbow's End and my favorite ride is the log flume. I like the log flume because it's fun but my worst ride is the Stratosfear. I don't like it because it's too scary. We eat McDonald's all the time because that's my favorite food because it fills up my belly.

“Poo that smells!” My dad always does the worst farts and sometimes he does it in front of us and we hate it because it smells like a 10 year old rotten egg. My mum is the best because she buys me everything like my shoes that I ruined and a PS3.  They are both from the Cook Islands and I hope they don’t pass away or else I will be crying for the rest of my life and I will never stop.

My school goal is to advance in everything so I can be brainy when I go to intermediate. I also want to try sports I haven't done.

Rugby is my favourite sport to play. I only started playing rugby because my best friend encouraged me. It was the best day of my life. Getting dirty in the mud was my favourite part.

My favourite food is my dad’s mouthwatering homemade curry. It’s so delicious especially the chilli. But then you have steak. I know that a lot of people love steak and chicken nibbles but me on the other hand, I think they are simply repulsive.

I have two younger sisters, a seven year old named Charlotte whose birthday is in December and an eight year old named Shiah whose birthday is in May.  Shiah’s name comes from Yorkshire because that’s where my nana and grandad lived during the war. Deanna’s my mum’s name, Christopher’s my dad's name and Whisker is my cat's name.

I am Cook Island Maori and European. My mum is Cook Island Maori and my dad is European. My dad was born in New Zealand unlike my aunties. They were born in England the same as all the rest and my dad was the only one in the family who was not born there.

My favourite restaurant is Happy Days because they make delicious lunches and tasty dinners.  My favourite food from Happy Days are the fish and chips and the seafood but I really enjoy the fizzy drinks the most. The thing my mum doesn't likes to do in a restaurant is showing her teeth while she is eating because when she eats and talks all the food will go one by one out of her mouth. “Disgusting!

My favourite thing to do at school is join in every sports and go to singing competitions.  My favourite subject are reading, maths, writing and art. In reading I like doing my reading tests. In maths I like doing maths games on computers and I also like to work with the teachers too. In writing I really enjoy writing on computers and writing in my book.

I have five sisters and two brothers,  one mum and one dad. They take care of me and look after me and my small cheeky little sister. My dad is working at a job called inter city at sky tower area, and my mum is working doing  night shift at the Warehouse in Botany and Manukau. When it’s the holidays my mum and dad take my step cousin and I to the pools or Mission Bay. When I am in the fountain my big brother pushes in because I try to take the ball off him and run a round the fountain.

Hi my name is Prix and I enjoy being in Room 11. Every time a stranger asks me what my name is, they always get it wrong.  Mistakenly they call me Isaac from the back. This happens because my brother and I nearly look like twins. But I ignore it sometimes …..“OKAY” not all the time.

My family goes to my aunt's house after church to cook a barbecue. My mind always wonders what to watch on my aunt’s TV. The reason is because they record nearly every movie they watch. Sometimes I have to wait until my uncle finishes his rugby channel.

Knack is my favourite Playstation 4 game in my entire life. The reason why I adore this game is that he grows by collecting relics. He looks so awesome when he grows. My favourite Knack is robo Knack cause he has this metal shoulder things that make him so awesome.

One thing that makes me upset about Knack is that I have to heal the main character and I get shorter. I have to do this because if he dies we have to go back to our last chapter.

My school goal is that I try my best at Room 11 maths.

I am nine years old and my birthday is on December the 14.  My mum and dad’s and my brother’s birthdays are in December.

The foods that I eat are healthy but I like eating cake, muffins, brownies, chocolate, ice cream from the bakery and McDonalds. They taste delicious and the healthy foods that I eat are sandwiches and veggies, egg, fruit, milk and water.

I have one mean brother, one naughty little brother and two cheeky sisters and lastly I have my lovely parents. My parents are caring parents because they care about the family.

Have you heard about this amazing girl named Onatia M-N.  I am 9 years old and I am addicted to hockey and singing. “Yay” is sound of when I’m going to school, School is one of my favorite places to be because I get to learn new things and see my friends. “Hello cutey”  that is what my reaction is when I get to see my beautiful, amazing, cute loving dogs called Lizzy and Jadon.  Jadon is a guide dog and Lizzy is an ex guide dog. Lizzy is one and Jadon is 14 months I think. This is a fact... if I lose my dogs or if they pass away I won't be as happy ever in my life as I have been in the past. Lizzy and Jadon are precious to me. They belong in my heart and I can’t even explain how much I love them because I love Lizzy and Jadon so much.

“What do you want Sam?” That is what I say to him most of the time. Even though I don’t like Sam it does not mean I don’t love him.  I love Sam a lot but when he is mean I don’t show him that I love him. Sam is my brother and if I never had him as my brother I would not love him.

“Hi mum how are you?” That is what I say when I see her. My mum’s name is Fiona. She was born in Scotland.  Every four  years we travel to Scotland to see our family because we don’t have real family here, only my nana and papa who are from Raro are in New Zealand. Mum is the best in the world and when she dies I will always remember her because she belongs in my heart. She could not be a better mum because she is the best mum ever already. I love my mum so much that I could never lose her in my entire life.

“Hi dad how are you today?” That’s what I say to my dad when I see him. My dad’s name is Engi and he is from Raro. Dad is the best dad in the world. I could never have a better dad in my life.  My dad is just like my mum because he belongs in my heart and when he dies I will always remember him. I love my dad too much.

My goal at school is to be in the top maths class, to be in the top group for reading and to try to not have many mistakes in writing.

I love school it is the best place to be. I get to see new people and make new friends.

Kia ora my name is Zyriana but my friends and family call me Ana, which I like. I am a student at Bairds Mainfreight Primary.  My name is originally from India and I am named after an actor. My great grandmother named me. Why? Because she was a fan of Indian movies. She had a think about it and then decided to name me Zyriana because that was her favorite Indian actress and that's how I got my name. When my grandmother was very young she travelled to India with her Indian friends. Wow  

I enjoy chatting and my favorite subject to talk about is school the reason why? because we can talk about so many things.

I really adore playing instruments, such as viola, violin, piano and guitar.

My favorite celebrity is Beyonce. Why? Because she has the most amazing voice. I love playing outdoors and I also love to play sports.I find sports so entertaining and really good for your body and it also keeps you fit and healthy.

The smell of creamy potatoes is mouthwatering and when you taste them you will munch on all the most delicious flavors. I really hate the sound of snakes. They are just too slithery. They are too colourful. I do not like rats and mice either. Why? Because I am absolutely petrified of them. They make me shiver and shake!

My number one goal is to keep up my attitude and to show a bit more respect. One day I wish I could go to India.That would be an huge opportunity.

In terms three and four we have welcomed another three great additions to our class. Christina, Tofena and Cahrmayr have joined us from other schools. It is fantastic to have another three kind and caring girls to add to the mix in Room 11. Christina joined us in term three but unfortunately she was only with us for one term. We certainly miss her great sporting ability. 

Here we are in Term Two. Unfortunately we have lost four of our beautiful Room 11 people. Bella, Ethan, Manaia and Leah have left us to go to other schools. We hope they are doing well and are enjoying their new schools.  

Our lovely Rere had an accident here at school and broke her leg. This has meant that she has had to have more than a term off school. It has been great to see her when her mum and dad have brought her in to say hello in her wheelchair. Come back soon Rere! We miss you heaps.

My favourite sport is softball and I like to go to laser tag and ice skating. My favourite thing to do at school is Maths because it is the only subject with numbers in it. A fact about me is I am awake everyday. My goal this year is to complete my maths and focus .

Kia orana, My name is Dawn and I am 9 years old and I am Cook Island. My most favorite food is butter chicken with rice because it tastes yum. My favorite sports are hockey and netball because they include movement and running. The things I like to do are maths and reading because then I will know what to do when we learn something new and I will know how to read clearly. The funny thing about me is that I like  dancing around like a monkey in my house. My goal for this year is to get better at writing so I can do better similes and art so I can get the face right.

My favorite thing to do is to ride on my scooter.  My favourite subject at school is drawing because it looks wonderful. The funny thing about me is that I have curly hair.  My goal  is to get better at writing.

Talofa lava my name is Ethan I am 9 and I’m turning 10 this year. My favourite food is McD’s  and  KFC.  My  favourite sport is touch. My favourite subject at school  is maths because I’m good and I learn new stuff everyday and I love running because I am fast like flash. Everytime I go on the rollercoaster I scream like a dog in pain. My goal is to join more sports and to focus more on instructions.

Hello,   My name is Fatu and I am 8 years old. My favourite sport is soccer and my favourite fruits are apples and bananas. My favourite subjects at school are writing, maths and reading because they help me to get smarter and my neurons grow. At home my brother always blocks the way when I’m watching TV and if I tell him to move he will move like a monkey and my other brother named Jeremiah will always be funky. If I want to achieve my goals I  have to study more.

Talofa lava. My name is Hazyl and my age is 8. My favourite fruit is apples because they are sweet and juicy. My favourite sports are basketball and netball. I’ve been trying to play basketball and netball since I was 5 years old. My goal for this year is to be successful and achieve new things at school. My favourite thing to do is to help my mum clean the house and the garden. A funny fact about me is that I dance around my mum like a crazy monkey asking to be let out of a cage. Hello my name is Here and I am 8 years old. My favourite food is apples and all kinds of fruit but not pineapple. I like playing touch and netball. I have one little sister and two brothers. The thing I like to do is exercise and to do star jumps. My favourite friend is Hazyl because she’s kind, helpful and focused. One thing about me is that I’m very good at running and hitting the ball in cricket. I like challenges because it makes me think harder. My talent is drawing dragons. Talofa my name is Onatia Mcaree Ngaau but everyone calls me Tia or Tt. I am 8 years old turning nine. My favourite foods are lollies, ice cream, sausages and le-snaks. The best amazing sports in the world to play are hockey, cricket and touch. Things that I like to do are going shopping, getting my nails painted, doing art, maths, writing and reading. My birthday is on October the 20th. The foods I don’t eat are tomato and lettuce. My favourite subjects are maths and reading. One funny thing about me is when I Iaugh  I sound like a witch. My goal this year is to get better at my writing!!!
