This week we have had a great time celebrating Cook Island Language Week. It all started with a fab assembly on Monday run by our beautiful Cook Island ladies, Katy, Akauta and Terai.
Over the week we got together with our buddy class, the beautiful and talented Room 19, to make an 'ei. The brief was to use recycled materials so we made our 'ei out of recycled soft plastics (Lucky for us Mrs Waird eats sooooo much popcorn), used paper and old magazines.
We really enjoyed working with Room 19. It has been a real highlight.
Check out the photos of our beautiful creations.
