Female Role Model Writing

Mother's Day was last month and everyone in Room 11 wrote to a special lady in their lives to let them know just how important they are.

We were extra proud of CJ and Cadell who made the finals of the Female Role Model Writing Competition with their Mother's Day writing. They read it aloud in assembly and did an excellent job.

To my heavenly Mum

You are gorgeous. Your eyes shimmer in the light like angels descending from heaven. Your hair is silky smooth with caramel brown cascading through your jet black hair like boats sailing through the sea. Your skin is as smooth as melted chocolate, that  caresses my skin with grace.

You’re strong and independent. You would never tell a lie and would stay strong even if the world seemed to crash down around us. You always comfort us when we feel afraid or scared of the journey that confronts us, like a mother lion protecting her two young cubs.

You alway buy the most high end brands so that we always look like supermodels. You rarely go out and treat yourself to a night out because you are always stressing about work and my brother and I, to the point where you barely have time for a coffee in the morning.

I admire your strong will and persistence. When you went to study, your mind was focused on one goal which was to help people who were struggling in life,  even when you struggled yourself like an angel protecting people from evil.

Mum I don’t know how I would survive without looking at that gorgeous face I wake to every morning, but if there's one thing I’m proud of, it’s to have a strong independent mother such as you.

Your smile is like an infection because it spreads with joy and there’s no cure your smile, it is a gift from heaven. Your eyes change from chocolate to autumn coloured when your mood switches.You have hazel brown hair like the fur from a bear which fades into a ferrero gold on the tips. Your hair is silky smooth like a gentle waterfall cascading down. Your hair smells like freshly picked roses after you have finished a shower.

You are the most funniest person in the world because of your unique ways. You add the dab at the end of a dry jokes to make it hilarious and that’s why your a funny person. You are my gift from heaven. You have a heart of gold. You have something that no other mum has and that’s because you’re rich with love.   

You’re like a superhero, you always try to have time for our family even when your busy.

Even though you make dry jokes and do the dab you’re still loyal and kind and that's why I chose you for my female role model writing.
